The Sleepless Tales of the Lonely Dreamwalker: WANDS 2.0

There’s no place for the bells, the Dreamwalker thought, looking down at her new attire. Plenty of belts, but really no comfortable place for a bandolier. Instead, she had replaced her weapon of choice with a deck of her tarot cards, its images more reliable than anything she herself could have made. All she had to do was call forth the card she needed at the time that she needed it, and the deck would take care of the rest.

The suit jacket was a nice touch, and the shorts made her more mobile. Every piece was of a lightweight, breathable material. It was a good — albeit different — feel. The clothes were tailored well, and even her wings felt comfortable in the slats behind her Kratos had made especially for them. It was a hundred times better than even she had pictured it to be… The Wolf Man really was a god with a needle and thread. The Dreamwalker resolved to ask him to teach her some time.

Not to mention just how great she looked in them — and she really wasn’t shy about it. In fact, this change of attire just added to the ease and confidence she’d found in the past couple of days with the Family. First a new room all to herself, then alone time with the White Queen (which she hasn’t experienced since her most recent past life), and now this. They were spoiling her mercilessly and it was doing wonders.

The Dreamwalker liked this whole confidence thing. It was a feeling she didn’t even know she had been missing.
